The Jabiru J250 (2 seater) & the J450 (4 Seater) have the same fuselage as the J230 and have been designed to meet the US Sport Plane category with a MTOW of 560 kg. They also meet the Australian 544kg Ultralight catagory. The longer tail boom results in more elevator and empennage authority (power of the elevator) like the J230. The stall speed at 544kg is 39 kts.The Jabiru J250 / J450 cruises at 115 knots on 20 litres/hour.
